Advanced Progressive™ is a new and innovative update to conventional progressive download. Advanced Progressive™ enables your audience to seek to any part of a video without having to download the entire file, much like you would with a CD or DVD. Particularly useful for long videos, it makes the viewing experience more intuitive and engaging and can reduce bandwidth usage in certain cases. It also enables new methods of creating clips, linking to video, and reducing cost from protocols such as RTMP.
